Photo retouching standard of CNProductPhotography

In the process of retouching pictures after product shooting, many friends who are skilled in using PS may not know what standard to use to retouch pictures, or in other words, what standard to use to judge the quality of picture shooting.Today cnproductphotography introduces some of the standards for retouching pictures, mainly include five points: color sense, texture, light sense, volume sense, and structure sense. Let's briefly introduce these points:

Color sense generally refers to the color of the picture after photography, such as color accurate, color cast, the saturation of the color, etc., whether this information can accurately represent the product itself.

Texture refers to the look and feel of the material of the product itself. When we look at the product pictures, can we truly reflect the material of the product itself?

Light perception refers to the light and shadow effect on the product when shooting the product, whether there is messy light and shadow, and whether the effect of light and shadow on the product conforms to the real visual effect or the principle of light transmission.

The sense of volume, in the post-production retouching of the product, we find some pictures feel like pieces of paper after be retouched, which cannot truly reflect the volume of the real product.

The sense of structure refers to whether the structure of the product itself can be truly reflected.

In the post-production retouching, we only need to keep these five elements in mind, and use this as a standard to adjust and modify the product so that it can better display the product itself. Conversely, when we are in product photography, we can also use these five standards to adjust lighting and products to achieve a more perfect shooting effect.
