Can you photography for Amazon products by yourself

I often come into contact with some Amazon sellers, who either complained or lost customers after we quoted the price.

1. Be consistent

The Amazon platform supports uploading 9 images maximum and 6 images minimum. However, there can only be one main image, and other auxiliary images describe the product from different angles.

Human beings are a very delicate creature. The desire to buy is always in the inadvertent details. 2. Control reflections

Reflections can make or break an image. When used properly, reflections can accentuate the quality of a product, especially if it comes in a glass bottle. Reflections can make products look more flattering, but if they expose anything in the background (like camera equipment) they should be removed from the picture. Also, if reflections blur the text on the product, the reflections need to be removed.

3. Remove picture dust, wrinkles and scratches

Dust, wrinkles, and scratches can make a product look cheap, especially for small items or close-up. Sellers need to beautify them with a photo editor for extensive retouching.

4. Follow the main image

The main image is usually the customer's first impression of a brand or product. If the main image shows unprofessional or low quality, customers will turn to a competitor's product.

The main image will also affect the ranking of the listing. If it doesn't follow Amazon's guidelines, Amazon can remove the listing or replace the image. For product photography of the main image, Amazon says the product must occupy at least 85% of the image, must be unpacked, and photographed under studio lighting. Amazon also mentions that the main image cannot have text, embedded images, props, or graphic design elements, and that the background of the main image should be a solid white.
